The APR DPK0007 Cast Inlet Downpipe replaces the restrictive factory downpipe with a larger, 76mm stainless steel mandrel-bent system, featuring a port-matched cast inlet, high-flow catalyst and various other features. Expect better throttle response, significant power gains, and an intoxicating exhaust note, while remaining civilized during normal daily driving.

The APR downpipe features an investment cast, T304L downturn designed to maximize flow and minimize turbulence. The v-band flange and mounting bracket are integrated into the casting and with a wall thickness of 2.5mm, the APR downpipe produces a refined exhaust note compared to thin wall tubing systems. The cast downturn mates to a T304L flex section that is fully sealed with a corrugated inner lining to improve flow and reliability. The T304L exhaust pipe is rolled to 76mm diameter with a 1.5mm wall thickness.

APRs engineers specified a high-quality, high-flow GESi metal 300-cell catalyst ideal for forced induction application. Internally the catalytic converter features a proprietary blend of precious metals and loading technology that helps to reduce emissions and smell common on cat-less setups. With performance in mind, the catalyst is placed far away from the turbo outlet to reduce turbulence in the downpipe and to help reduce under-hood temperature. The low-profile catalyst features a fully captured substrate brick, which is furnace brazed to the outer mantle and physically captured by the diffuser cones preventing rattling, rotation, and damage to the substrate. Subsequently, a byproduct of running the catalyst is a reduction in noise, making the system as a whole more pleasing to the ear.

APR DPK0007 Downpipe Manufacturing:
The APR Downpipe is a fully T304L system with a cast downturn, flex section, 76mm tubing, and includes a GESi metal 300-cell catalyst. A stainless clamp and reducer are included as is a O2 extension harness.

APR DPK0007 Downpipe Install:
Installation of APR downpipes typically takes 2-3 hours. Basic hand tools are necessary for installation, no cutting or welding is required. Please observe all safety precautions and follow proper installation guidelines while working on your vehicle.

APR products are warranted to be free from defects in the materials and workmanship prior to installation. This warranty does not cover labor, misuse, faulty installation, failure of related parts or parts purchased other than from APR, LLC. This warranty extends to the original purchaser for as long as they own the vehicle and the APR product.

Extremely Satisfied!

The new DP is super awesome!! That really woke that car up even from the Stage 1. The front tires are worthless now and the traction control is hyperactive if left on. The sounds that the car makes now are really cool also. The spool and the DV are really audible if your foot is in it, but you can barely notice its there driving normally. The cast pipe is much less tingy than the sheet metal mandrel bent styles. It is much louder during a cold start even with the factory cat back! Absolutely NO regrets! Thanks Achtuning!
