H&R 29298-1 Sport Springs will give your RS6 a lowered stance at minimal cost. Aftermarket shocks designed to work with higher rate springs are recommended for use with Sport Springs.

H&R Spring Manufacturing:
H&R springs are ISO 9001 certified and TUV approved and are crafted from a special (hf) 54SiCr6 spring steel to ensure premium quality and performance. The springs are also shot-peened which increases their life by over 200%.

A rhino with performance knees

I decided to replace the factory springs only, instead of changing the whole suspension with a coil over system. I believe in the DRC System developed by Audi for this beast. Once you replace only the springs (they have to empty the shock absorbers hydraulic fluid first), then they refill the shock absorber to the new level required for the new springs specs and height. I've been more than satisfied with them and also the Hartmann wheels 19". It's been the best choice I've done for the suspension.
