The APR CI100038 Turbocharger Inlet System outflows the OEM components by up to 45% through eliminating the critical restriction in the OEM turbocharger inlet pipe. This is the first step one should take when upgrading their intake system and paves the way for even more gains. The APR Turbo Inlet System uses a massive 4 inch carbon fiber inlet tube attached to a massive 4 inch cast aluminum inlet which is organically shaped to retain the largest possible cross sectional area throughout the inlet all the way to the turbo intake.

The optional CI100038A Filter brings the airflow improvement up even further from a 45% gain to a 60% gain for even more performance!

APR CI100038 Inlet Design:

APR’s engineers tested a multitude of designs and quickly determined the elbow could not act as an upgrade on its own because of the significant increase in diameter required. The rear inlet pipe also had to be upgraded to utilize this larger diameter. Other designs which offer a continuously reducing taper and may look smoother, are in fact extremely limited. At 3.5”, 550 CFM is achievable, enlarging the tapered design to 4” only results in a paltry 10 CFM gain. In contrast, the organically shaped APR inlet system achieves an astounding 710 CFM under the same test.

The APR Turbo Inlet System uses a carbon fiber inlet tube and a cast aluminum inlet elbow with a stainless steel heat shield.

APR CI100038 Turbo Inlet Install:
Installation of the APR Turbocharger Inlet takes about 90 minutes. Basic hand tools are needed.
