The RS (Racing Sport or RennSport) are versions of cars from Audi that have been extensively reworked by Audi Sport GmbH (previously known as Quattro GmbH). Every component is scrutinized and most are redesigned and improved for the RS model cars. The first RS car was the RS2, a joint project with Porsche in 1994.
