The APR MS100193 Turbo Outlet Charge Pipes are a comprehensive, direct replacement upgrade of the small and restrictive factory rubber and plastic discharge hose and pipe found in the charge piping system of MOB 1.8T and 2.0T engines. The system includes a multitude of enhancements designed for maximum performance, longevity and insurance against power robbing boost leaks.

The factory turbo outlet pipe is a small 38mm plastic pipe that has shown to melt, deform, and cause boost leaks under extreme conditions. The APR System remedies this by upgrading to a larger 60mm aluminum pipe with TIG welded brackets and ridged ends. The APR multi-ply fluorosilicone coated turbocharger outlet hose replaces the OEM rubber hose. APR EZ-Flow stepped lips providing a smooth transition from hose to pipe. The included T-bolt clamps ensure a strong and leak-resistant seal at the pipe. The APR Discharge pipe system is a direct fit to the OEM turbocharger and to either the APR or OEM intercooler hose.

APRs Engineers took a multi-step approach to optimizing the hoses to minimize boost leaks, reduce turbulence and other performance degradations. Four-ply silicone was utilized as it provides the thickness and strength characteristics necessary to support boost levels far beyond the engines capabilities. A Fluorosilicone internal lining was added to ensure the hoses do not rapidly deteriorate over time when exposed to oil and gasoline from the PCV and EVAP systems. The included stainless-steel Clampco T-bolt clamps prevent the hoses from coming lose under heavy pressure and under high temperatures, silicone adheres to its mating surface, further minimizing leaks and hose slippage. APRs EZ-Flow stepped design creates a smooth airflow path, reducing turbulence over non-stepped designs. Finally, silicone provides better heat resistance over rubber, extending the life of the product and ultimately minimizing failure. The result is a hose solution that directly replaces the factory rubber hoses and maintains performance under extreme conditions!

The APR Turbo outlet Pipe is made from 60mm diameter aluminum and features a ridge at the ends of the pipe to help hose retention. The APR Turbo Outlet Hose is constructed from Four-ply silicone with a Fluorosilicone coating on the interior surface. Stainless steel Clampco T-bolt clamps are included to secure the hose connections.
