The engine bay temperature of the 991 Turbo rapidly rises under full throttle acceleration. Without the insulation of the carbon fiber S=FLO airbox, the engine would be ingesting air almost 10 degrees hotter. Hotter air hurts power output

The carbon fiber airbox insulating effects of the AWE S-FLO intake, along with its superior aerodynamics and higher capacity filters, results in peak power gains of 6 HP and 17 TQ and maximum power gains of 22 HP and 22 TQ.
