Since 1978, Hartmann Wheels has focused on bringing the highest quality wheels to the US market. Hartmann wheels are produced in a modern, state-of-the-art German owned foundry. Hartmann utilizes a low pressure casting process which produces a high performance wheel equal in strength and finish quality to OEM Audi and VW wheels. The wheels are heat treated for increased strength and are tested to JWL, VIA, and TUV standards.
Hartmann HTT-256-MA:M wheels were designed by Germany's finest engineers. The Hartmann HTT-256-MA:M wheel is a OEM-inspired design featuring 5 curved and tapered spokes with a machined "sharkfin" at the end of each spoke. The HTT-256-MA:M wheels are finished with a dark grey anthracite paint which is machined off of the "sharkfins" and the lip of the wheel with a protective matte clearcoat applied after machining. The HTT-256-MA:M is designed to accept OEM lug bolts, OEM centercaps, and OEM TPMS senders.
Hartmann carefully selects their wheel offsets "ET"* to provide a fitment which will clear the brake caliper and suspension components, widen the track for better handling and aesthetics, and not allow the tire to contact the fender or fender liner during cornering or suspension travel, even on lowered vehicles. Fitment is backed by a money back guarantee.
*ET: from German "Einpresstiefe" (translates into "Insertion Depth") referred to as "Offset" in English: A measurement in mm of the distance between the center line of the wheel and the mounting surface of the wheel which contacts the hub face.
