The MeLe Battery Box allows secure fitment of a lightweight battery in the stock battery location and weighs just 2.1 Lbs. Allows fitment of Braille G20 (4.5 Lbs), Full Throttle FT230 (15.4 Lbs), Odyssey PC680 (15.4 Lbs), or XS Power D680 (13.7 Lbs) battery or other batteries with dimensions of 180mm x 77mm x 170mm tall. In addition to enabling significant weight savings a smaller battery can allow more room for other items that may need to use the space occupied by the OEM battery.

For vehicles which are not daily driven we recommend use of a CTEK battery maintainer. For vehicles with aftermarket airbag suspension or aftermarket amplifiers, or when extended use of electrical accessories with the engine off is likely, a battery with larger reserve capacity may be desired.

MeLe Battery Box Manufacturing:
MeLe Battery Boxes are constructed from CNC cut 5052 marine grade aluminum with a protective textured black coating. The Battery is secured by a hinged cover which is pinned in place. The MeLe logo is machined into the cover along with a unique serial #. Stainless hardware is included for installation.

MeLe Battery Box Install:
Install is straightforward and completely reversible. The MeLe box bolts to the battery tray with the included stainless bolts using an existing threaded hole.
