More than 34 years of continuous exhaust development and technical expertise are drawn upon to develop the ultimate Milltek Sport range of performance products. The Milltek SSXAU181 Exhaust is a fully polished T-304 stainless steel, CNC mandrel bent, cat-back system. The Milltek exhaust begins after the headers with dual 70mm piping, and continues back to the muffler. The Milltek exhaust improves power and response and gives a deeper more aggressive sound. The Milltek R8 exhaust eliminates the warm-up cats but will not trigger a check engine light.

Milltek SSXAU181 Exhaust Vehicle Fitment:

Milltek SSXAU181 Cat Back Manufacturing:
Milltek exhausts are fully fabricated in the UK from T-304 stainless steel to prevent corrosion and ensure a long life. CNC mandrel bends are used to maximize flow and performance. TIG welding and CNC'ed hangers ensure a perfect fit. Finally the exhausts are fully polished for show car looks.

Milltek SSXAU181 Catback Install:
Installation of the Milltek R8 exhaust typically takes 12 hours. Installation is recommended to be performed by an Audi technician with R8 factory training.

Warranty:
Milltek cat-back exhaust systems are covered by an anti-corrosion and manufacturing defect warranty. This warranty does not cover labor, misuse, faulty installation, failure of related parts or parts purchased other than from Milltek. This warranty extends to the original purchaser for as long as they own the vehicle and the exhaust. Milltek hi-flow sports catalysts and downpipes are covered by a 2 year or 80,000km / 49,710mi warranty.

Thanks again guys!

The exhaust is definitely louder at all times, but in a good way. While cruising it has a sustained growl that wasn't there with the stock exhaust, but changes to more of an Italian tone when revving it high upwards of 6 - 8K RPM. I can feel a modest power improvement, especially in second and third gear at high RPMs. In my opinion it sounds more like a Lambo now at high RPMs, although not quite as loud, yet at idle it sounds and rumbles like a muscle car.
