Easy install
Easy and clean install. Finished product looks nice. The supercharger noises aren’t very loud. I’ve heard it’s best to pair this with the induction tube to accomplish this. I have yet to make that purchase.

The APR CI100037 Carbon Fiber Intake System for the 3.0T supercharged engines is an attractive high performance upgrade that increases performance primarily by improving mass airflow through the system while still proving adequate filtration. The APR intake system shows noticeable power gains and offers a more direct and responsive feel, not to mention an amazing sound.
The stock intake system (airbox, filter, and throttle body pipe) limits the maximum airflow potential to ~502 CFM. Upgrading just the airbox and filter to the APR open intake raises the max airflow to 605 CFM! This jumps to 760-770 CFM with the addition of an upgraded throttle body pipe! By allowing the engine to breathe, the intake system lowers the intake air temperature, and allows for performance gains of 17 AWHP at Stage 2+ (on 93 octane). At Ultracharged levels this increase is even more significant.

The APR Intake is constructed of 2x2 weave carbon fiber with a thick T304 Stainless-Steel heat shield and air buffer-gap on the back. A 7" pleated cotton filter with frontal inlet and SAI breather filter is also included. The mounting feet of the unit and the 4" flange adapter are made from billet aluminum.

The intake system can be installed in minutes with minimal tools. With the factory unit removed, the intake slips into place and connects to the factory throttle body pipe using the OEM hardware without filling the engine bay with additional couplers and hose clamps.
