The APR ECU Upgrade typically raises the power output of the 2.0T to 246 horsepower and 282 lb-ft of torque on 91 octane fuel! Expect improved throttle response and a smoother, more powerful top end with no loss of drivability or reliability.
APR software can be loaded with up to four user selectable Operating Modes as well as Extra Features*. APR's Flipswitch technology allows switching of Operating Modes or activation of Extra Features in seconds using the cruise control stalk with no need to purchase external hardware. Mode switching can also be performed via your iOS device with the APR Mobile Dongle (sold separately).

Installation can be performed at our facility by appointment, just give us a call at 425-895-0000 or email Service@Achtuning.com to schedule. With APR's DirectPort ECU tuning the ECU can be programmed in around 60 minutes, no ECU removal or soldering is required.

Just swung by and got the ECU upgrade on my otherwise stock 2006 VW GTI. Raining today, which sucks.. but in 4th gear on the freeway I can break the tires loose (again, real wet streets).. but I could never do that with the stock ECU. The torque is real noticeable!
